Marriage

 First marriage to Claudia Holdenried (5 years); second to Judith Holdenried (8 years, 3 in separation); third to Kathlyns Holdenried (23+ years) - no living children but 1 miscarriage at the end of the first year (would have been named Alyson or Erik).

Pat Swoboda

 Pat is my sister (15 years my senior); she is married to Charles Swoboda; they have 1 son, Carl (deceased), who married Kathy (since divorced) who had 1 son, Carter, and, 1 daughter, Susan, who married Sam Estes - they have 1 son, Robert, and 1 daughter, Kristen.

Mike Holdenried

 Mike is my brother (5 years my senior); he is married to Nancy and has 2 children (daughter Lisa & son Ryan); Lisa is married to Jim Trautman and Ryan is married to Nicole (McKenzie is Ryan & Nicole’s daughter).

Amy Hughes

Amy is my oldest daughter; her Mom’s name is Claudia.Holdenried (née Benson); we divorced when she was 3 years old.

Sarah Downs

Sarah is my youngest daughter; her Mom’s name was Judith Holdenried (née Olsen), deceased) who had 3 sons (Matthew, Joshua & Adam) by her first husband; we divorced when she was 5 years old.

Kathy Holdenried

 I met Kathy at St. Johns Lutheran Church in St. Louis City during various activities and events but esp. during a class (line dancing) in the Neighborhood School (a “community school” at the church), though we didn’t start dating for a while afterwards.

Convergence

"Convergence" is the key word for the future! Google it to see what it means. It's applicable for our political, financial, economic, religious, medical, insurance, educational, and spiritual worlds. Check-out Microsoft's "Windows Live" set of tools to see an example of this.

Some have believed that the Internet is the new version of the "Tower of Babel"; now with more and more convergence, it's clear that the Internet is getting easier and easier to use to merge various aspects of our lives, connect people & institutions & companies & the gov't. more and more, so that it seems to be very good and useful, and, making our world "smaller", but, maybe we need to beware of the consequences?
